Key Requirements:

• Comprehensive Information: Participants should be clearly informed about the purpose of the research, procedures involved, potential risks and benefits, and their right to withdraw at any time without consequence.
• Consent Documentation:
  • Authors must confirm that written informed consent was obtained from all study participants.
  • In case of minors or individuals with impaired decision-making capacity, consent must be obtained from legal guardians, along with assent from the participant when appropriate.
• Privacy and Anonymity:
  • Authors must ensure that identifying information (such as names, images, personal data) is not included in the manuscript unless it is essential for scientific purposes and explicit written consent for publication has been obtained.
  • If consent for publication is not possible, all efforts must be made to anonymize data to protect the identity of participants.
• Ethical Approval:
  • For all studies involving human subjects, a statement indicating ethical approval by an appropriate institutional review board or ethics committee must be included in the manuscript.
  • If ethical approval was not required, authors must provide a clear justification in the submission.
• Special Considerations: For research involving indigenous communities, vulnerable populations, or culturally sensitive topics, authors must take extra care to ensure culturally appropriate consent processes and adhere to local norms and ethical standards.
• Compliance Statement: A sentence stating that "Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study" must be clearly mentioned in the manuscript, typically in the methods or ethical considerations section.
